URGENT HELP! DONATIONS NEEDED
The need for your help has never been greater. We have the chance to help thousands of hens. I literally mean thousands, giving them the opportunity of a better life but we need urgent funds in order to do so. We are working with multiple egg farmers to empty their cages right now and transport them to loving families who want hens for their families. The demand has increased significantly as COVID-19 has progressed and we know that we can do something absolutely game changing for these animals.
Our precious hens who have been stuck in cages, faced with impending death, never having been outside of a cage and walked on grass, now have a chance for a better life. We’ve got everything lined up. We’ve spoken to the farmers who want to urgently surrender hens due to them no longer being financially viable. We have adoptors who urgently want the hens as a companion in this pandemic. It’s a match made in heaven but we need the funds to be able to do so. With these funds we will be able to upgrade our transport equipment so we can rescue more hens, feed the hens in our care as well as providing urgent vet care (due to being in a cage all their life) to make sure they are as heathly as possible before being adopted out.
This is one of the biggest missions of our rescue and we have the opportunity of a lifetime to free thousands, actually tens of thousands of hens.
We want to raise $30,000 tonight. It’s a big number but it will transform the lives of the hens.
It's hard to put a price on this but $30 roughly provides transport, feed and health care (treatment for lice, mites and worms plus vet care as required) for 10 hens for their first day with us.
